I’ve been to this water spa near our place for a couple of times already. I am fortunate to know some of the owners and they are down to earth people considering their stature in life. I really love going there because it is very relaxing. It’s some sort of a water therapy and I am pretty sure they are using pool heat pumps to be able to sustain the temperature of the water. I haven’t been there lately and I am looking forward to have some bonding time with my cousins like what we did last year. Hopefully all cousins will be free in case we decide to hold it there again.

What can I do, I didn’t receive your sms. Sounds familiar? Yes I get mad sometimes when people don’t respond to my sms especially if its about something. I have a tendency not believe that all too familiar line. But come to think of it, it happens. Like in my case I need a cellular booster for my other carrier. I actually have 3 and one of them has the weakest signal here in the house. I can’t afford to miss a call or sms because that particular carrier is some kind of a private line for the family. It’s a good thing there are boosters which can solve my problem. I’d rather buy a booster than change carrier, after all this is the most affordable of them all.

Since we are in the digital age, it’s just apt that we follow suit. We can’t do anything about it anymore, it’s like everything goes techie everyday. We’ve started our share of converting to digital. We had almost all our photos scanned and I’m looking into document scanning. I have a lot of papers at home, accumulated from years back. No, I can’t trash it without keeping a copy, it might be needed in the future for reference or something. I noticed that everyone else is going paperless already, it’s a good move in saving our planet, don’t you think?

I plan to fix the daughter’s room. She actually initiated it. Well I can understand, after all she’s already 18, not much girlie stuff anymore. I have said yes but on one condition. She has to give up her “friends” for adoption. At first she was like….but but but, well that is my condition, take it or leave it. Then I saw in one of her FB status that it was indeed up for adoption. She had a condition too, she gets to keep some of her favorites which we adopt every Christmas. I said yes to that. The picture you see above is similar to the 2-seater couch we bought. It was 20% off so it was really hard to resist. It was for her as she puts it. We can’t wait for it to be delivered in a week’s time, meanwhile I’m gonna look around for some ideas on how to make her room more beautiful. No need for an interior coz I can’t afford it honestly.

It’s really a pity when one has sensitive skin. I know how itchy it can get. Just like me, my son has super sensitive skin too. It’s really frustrating when you can’t help control it. It took years before I finally discovered what can help when it came to his sensitive skin. Believe it or not it was shea butter that did it. I asked the nanny to refrain from putting any other lotion but just the shea butter. Now he seldom gets irritated skin. I told my friends about it and they too tried using it.

I just want to share this stuff to people who are into cigars. Not that I have tasted it myself but I stumbled upon it’s website and found interesting how they produce their cigars. I read about their secret process which combines herbs and essential oils. No wonder they brag about their range of flavors and aromas. Don’t think that since it is differently produced, the price range would be a little higher. These are in fact cheap acid cigars. They say that one should try it so that they will truly understand what those herbs and essential oils do to the flavor of the cigar.

To those companies who have thought of offering life insurance to people with hazardous activities, kudos to you. Take for example people who find thrill in skydiving, did you know that there’s such a thing called skydivers and life insurance? Yes, you guys can now be protected for a minimal fee. I got really bored yesterday and decided to go to my happy place which is the home section of any mall. This time I went to SM since I thought of buying plastic shoe boxes. I learned from my SIL that she got hers from that store. I was lucky because it was on sale (buy 1 take 1). I ended up buying 40 boxes for only P2,500. Not bad considering the plastic is really nice compared to the ones you see on Ebay. I am referring to shoe boxes on ebay which has about the same price. My daughter is happy because we’ve been really wanting to buy those boxes but didn’t find time to buy them.

There are a lot of things that we take for granted at home. We don’t really spend time to check on some things. This happened to my sister in the US. I think it was at the height of Irene where I heard her rant non-stop. She complains of stuff that I barely understand since we do not have them at home. The thing that I got worried though was her fireplace. I know it can really get very cold there and a fireplace would be a welcome treat. She didn’t expect that her fireplace was busted, and not at the time they needed it most. I guess she wasn’t able to do anything about it and just stopped the ranting. Anyway, I wonder if she had it fixed already. I haven’t really talked with her since Irene, and because she’s back at work too. Maybe the next time I get to talk to her, I can suggest that she gets fireplace inserts instead. I think it would be cheaper than having her fireplace repaired plus that fact that it wouldn’t be much of a trouble cleaning it after its use. I know she will agree with me on this matter.

And the struggle continues…just what am I talking about? I wish I didn’t have to say weight issues, but as it is, that is my problem right now. Sometimes I’m already thinking or resorting to fat burners just to get it over with. But whenever I share it with a friend, they would always say, you don’t need it yet. No, I am not anorexic, it’s just that I think of myself more on the heavy side, probably close to obese. Sorry but that is how I look at myself and sometimes I am feeling it too. With the 20 pound increase in weight, who wouldn’t feel frustrated, right?
