I got really bored yesterday and decided to go to my happy place which is the home section of any mall. This time I went to SM since I thought of buying plastic shoe boxes. I learned from my SIL that she got hers from that store. I was lucky because it was on sale (buy 1 take 1). I ended up buying 40 boxes for only P2,500. Not bad considering the plastic is really nice compared to the ones you see on Ebay. I am referring to shoe boxes on ebay which has about the same price. My daughter is happy because we’ve been really wanting to buy those boxes but didn’t find time to buy them.

There are a lot of things that we take for granted at home. We don’t really spend time to check on some things. This happened to my sister in the US. I think it was at the height of Irene where I heard her rant non-stop. She complains of stuff that I barely understand since we do not have them at home. The thing that I got worried though was her fireplace. I know it can really get very cold there and a fireplace would be a welcome treat. She didn’t expect that her fireplace was busted, and not at the time they needed it most. I guess she wasn’t able to do anything about it and just stopped the ranting. Anyway, I wonder if she had it fixed already. I haven’t really talked with her since Irene, and because she’s back at work too. Maybe the next time I get to talk to her, I can suggest that she gets fireplace inserts instead. I think it would be cheaper than having her fireplace repaired plus that fact that it wouldn’t be much of a trouble cleaning it after its use. I know she will agree with me on this matter.

And the struggle continues…just what am I talking about? I wish I didn’t have to say weight issues, but as it is, that is my problem right now. Sometimes I’m already thinking or resorting to fat burners just to get it over with. But whenever I share it with a friend, they would always say, you don’t need it yet. No, I am not anorexic, it’s just that I think of myself more on the heavy side, probably close to obese. Sorry but that is how I look at myself and sometimes I am feeling it too. With the 20 pound increase in weight, who wouldn’t feel frustrated, right?

There’s this grocery store that I used to frequent a lot since the prices there are reasonably lower compared to other grocery stores. Thing is whenever I’m there it seems to take forever before I finish grocery shopping. Believe me it does take forever. Do you want to know why? Up until now, they are not embracing new technology. I can’t believe that they haven’t gotten themselves a POS Hardware. I bet they are going to lose precious customers each day if they continue to be that way. Someone has to tell them that they will benefit from a POS system, efficiency wise. It would be easier to manage inventories, etc. It would also mean that transactions will be faster. I just hope that next time I visit them again, I see an improvement in their system, otherwise I won’t be coming back.

I finally found the perfect eyebrow pencil(?) for me. Even the color is perfect since it’s very close to my hair color. When I saw it at Faceshop, I immediately tried it on since I didn’t wear my brows that day, lol. I fell in love with it right away.
I also love the fact that it had a spoolie at the other end. With a little upward motion, it kinda clears harsh lines brought about by the pencil. I have to stock on this since it’s really hard for me to find the perfect pencil for my Mona Lisa brows.

The husband once asked me why I buy more than one case for my mobile phone. Is it like bags and shoes that one can have too many? I think yes, I find joy changing my iphone case every so often. I think I even match it with what I wear sometimes. It’s a good thing it’s affordable nowadays otherwise I won’t be able to do it. There are just too many nice ones and I can’t help but buy. I think the same thing would happen to you too especially if it’s within your budget or something that would never leave a hole in your pocket, right?

Diamonds.Diamonds.Diamonds…who does not want one? It’s a girl’s best friend after all! Can you also say that it’s beginning to be a man’s best friend? To some, yes! Anyway let us talk about my love for diamonds. I’m not saying that I have a lot, but still I love diamonds. I love looking at them. If only I can collect diamonds in various colors, then that would be great. At the moment I only have a blue one, but I’m hoping that some day I can have it in all colors. It’s free to dream, but who knows, right? Anyway, I wonder how much this Black diamond earrings cost? It’s really pretty. The setting is very simple, yet it stands out. I like simple designs, let the stone speak if I may say.

I was going through the b&bw website about 2 months ago and got really interested in their home fragrance. I got more excited when I found out that my favorite scent which is vanilla was on sale. When my friend Guigi asked me what I wanted for my birthday, bingo, I already had something in mind. So I told her about it and true enough she mailed me 3 wallflower starters which you see on the photo and a couple of bulb refills. I can never thank you enough, Chen. I know I am really spoiled when it comes to my friends and my sisters of course. I usually receive what I wish for. Teehee!

I’m fond of watching american movies/tv series. I don’t exactly remember how I got hooked, but just found myself glued to the television whenever I chance upon it. It started when I was in high school and that was some twenty five years ago. Please don’t do the math now, haha. Anyway, I always see motorhomes being used in the tv series. I would always wonder how it is to live in one. It’s exciting how you could transfer from one place to another not having to worry the household stuff you have. I think it was really convenient because everything is there already. And with regards to repairs and maintenance, it’s no biggie too since rv repair is always available. Too bad I didn’t get to see one when we went to the US. It would have been a nice idea to live in one while on vacation. I think it would be a lot cheaper to jump from one state to another. I’m not sure though if this is allowed. But I think it is, because based on what I read, there is always a designated area for motorhomes in every state in the US.

SIL is thinking of doing a makeover with her room. She has planned this countless times already but I really do not know why it does not push through. No motivation perhaps? I can’t say that she does not have money for all these, because truth be told she has more than enough. I think she needs a little push and some suggestions here and there. I really don’t know if she’d like this log furniture. If I was the one doing the makeover, I’d probably consider anything log. I find it unique. You don’t usually find “log themes” when it comes to bedrooms or even in living rooms. I think it would really earn praises if you know how to put things together. Yeah I might suggest this thing to her, who knows this is the kind of push she needs.
